Easy parking, comfortable room, friendly staff. Perfect location for our visit to the Three Counties Showground, and outings to Malvern and Worcester. Breakfast was really good, made to order with quality produce. We had a delicious dinner in the pub on Saturday night, cooked with care by the owner Martin. Altogether happy with our mini break exploring the beautiful Shires.

Fantastic stay with easy check in and gorgeous room. Jackie the host was excellent and had great communication via telephone! She Made travelling with a baby super easy ensuring a cot was available and set up for our arrival! (This was brilliant as this was a last minute booking - 2pm on the day of arrival) the decoration within the property is fabulous with all small details thought of!

Breakfast was great and location in lovely village near Worcester
Great place for anyone who loves history. Particularly Medieval and English Civil War then of course there is the Elgar connection. Plenty of old buildings. Worth looking out for tours of the City and the Cathedral reasonably priced -the knowledge and enthusiasm of the guides are a credit to the city. The Cathedral is free to visit though donations encouraged -and King John's tomb is there.
The riverside walks are great, and always like seeing the swan sanctuary . Found prices for food and drink cheaper than where I live.
The historical sites of the City are largely central and relatively near to each other.

A lovely city, large enough to have everything we needed but small enough to walk round. Some beautiful historic buildings, great setting on the River Severn, easy access from the M5. The city has a superb range of pubs, from historic buildings to micropubs, a great location for beer enthusiasts..

I stay outside Worcester but don't come from area.
Some places can be expensive, too expensive. Takes time to find what is reasonable priced.
Lot of roadworks, traffic diversions - very annoying and could understand people not visiting or staying long because of this.
Lot of cafes, but almost all closed for business by early afternoon - bit of wilderness for such cafes in afternoon/evening.

I spent 1 night and 1 day here with a specific itinerary - the historic ghost walk, the cathedral, Greyfriars, Tudor museum.
Worcester is very easy to travel to by train and car and to get around. There are some fantastic historic buildings, cafes and pubs. I stayed at Browns at the Quay and ate there. I also had a delicious afternoon tea at G&Tea. A very enjoyable stay - will be back soon to see some other things!

Worcester is a lovely place to visit the Hotel is situated right in the middle of all amenities. You are also opposite the train station that literally takes about 30 to 45 minutes to get in to Birmingham. Walks and eating establishments are the best choice lots to choose from .
Staff were very helpful, friendly and polite and nothing was too much trouble.
Food was great and good value for money.
Beer garden was the best I have seen. There was plenty of tables outside and also a covered area that had heaters. There was a brilliant area for children to play in that is safe and secure.
The level of cleanliness is exceptional.
We had our dog and the location was perfect with great walks nearby.
We are travelling from Scotland to Torquay and this was a fabulous hotel to break the journey. A great start to our holiday.
The noise outside was really bad the windows are pointless it needs Secondary glazing there was people shouting outside for 11pm till 4 pm I didn’t not sleep the room was facing the main room I should of asked for a back room, plus all the pillows were lumpy and hard to get Comfortable, when I complained to the staff I did raise my voice and Cursed twice the staff asked if I had paid and told me to leave, I did phone them back and apologise for swearing it was my own fault for picking a hotel in the main
Hotel room was amazing. We arrived to have been told we had been upgraded to room 301 and got a free glass of prosecco. The room and bathroom are huge and the views of the river and cathedral are lovely. Parking in the 24hr car park is only a few yards away. The breakfast menu was great. A lot of choice and of very good standard. I would definitely come here again if stopping in Worcester which is a lovely place to visit for a weekend. The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well.
Difficult to be objective. I care a lot for the city of Worcester, and visit when I can. I always try to stay at The Severn View Hotel. Like the old building, the staff are great, the location is perfect, very central, right by the river and historic city centre. It has a busy bar, and sometimes the room I get is right above it. But the noise from downstairs ends at a reasonable time. The full English breakfasts are legendary. Looking forward to returning. Superb value for money.
A nice little place to stay in / near Worcester with an excellent cuisine. I strongly recommend having dinner there - both main course and dessert were outstanding, staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Breakfast was also very good.
The room is how you'd expect it to be, absolutely fine, spotless clean, but nothing special.
The free parking in front of the hotel was convenient.
If staying in Worcester, this is a good choice!
Location was spot on by the river. Room was very nice for the money. Hotel interior and furnishings very good. Couldn't fault breakfast. Quality ingredients, cooked to perfection and piping hot on a hot plate which is a rarity these days. Also had lunch and dinner in the restaurant. Again, the food was fantastic, freshly cooked to order and very good service. Hotel had a good atmosphere and is obviously very popular.
Excellent location. Didn't meet staff because it's self check in with keycode, but that worked well. Everything we needed in the room and was immaculately clean. Used the restaurant suggestions and weren't disappointed.
Parking nearby is only £3.60 for 24 hours.
Having a kitchen is ideal for us because we like to do our own breakfast.
We would use it again if in Worcester area.
Hotel was in a beautiful location, very convenient for business trips. Room was in need of a little bit of TLC, but was clean and tidy and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was ok, wasn’t the biggest choice on offer but it was good for the money. Staff were very friendly and even kept reception open late for me arriving outside hours
Really friendly staff in all areas. Received a very warm welcome and everything in the hotel is good quality. Breakfast was very good. The location is great with a lovely view on the river. Very peaceful as this is not near a traffic zone. Also very convenient for walking into the city centre.
The apartment was very clean, cozy and comfortable! It felt very homely and me and my partner felt very relaxed there. Very impressed with the facilities and it was well worth every penny! Will recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Worcester.
Location was lovely and convenient while being in a quiet area. All staff were lovely and very accommodating throughout our stay, including allowing us to check in early after a long haul flight. Our room was clean, comfortable and cozy.
Food good, friendly staff, public areas have recently been refurbished and were of a good standard. Location good for visiting Worcester. Discount available at Cathedral square car park, don't forget to ask in the hotel.
Everything. I was rather overwhelmed. Clean and comfortable and really much better than I had expected. I will certainly stay again and recommend The Crown as a place to stay in Worcester for others.
The room was really good and a good size too. The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with a really powerful shower. Best hotel we have stayed in in the Worcester area.
We had a very good stay, with a large bedroom and a large bathroom. The hotel staff were all lovely. The hotel is located in the centre and very close to Worcester Foregate Street station.
The English breakfast was very good and staff were very helpful.
The location next to the cathedral and main town centre was ideal
It was good value for a central hotel
Great location and wonderful hotel. The staff were very friendly, hotel was very clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend staying there if you are in Worcester.
