Small town with a wonderful little OldTown part. I especially like that there is not too many tourists and that you can both enjoy the town beach just as the wild rocky beaches where you have more privacy! I would recommend Lovranski Pub and Delfino for GREAT meal! The walk road by the see - LungoMare give you a huge pleasure by the sea from Lovran to Volosko! Lovran is an amazing place, place of historical and natural...
Lovran is an amazing place, place of historical and natural abundance. The only problem are the roads and basic infrastructure after beautiful promenade in Opatija and Lovran. The cars are driving like there is MonteCarlo, without any consequences or fines, and as a walker going to the beach, you are not considered. Simply, there is no basic traffic lights, sidewalks and you can easily get killed there if not careful enough when passing the main street. Well cared for, seafront although lacking sandy beach is well equipped in terms of terraces and steps leading into the sea with handrails to provide assistance. Also well positioned for visiting other locations. We. Visited Rijeka and the island of Krk.

Just as foretold, a bit smaller, a bit less fancy version of Abbazia / Opatija. The sea is the same :-) Also vey nice villas and apartments, the Lungo Mare is stretching all the way till here. Good food. Old Town is really old and authentic. Depressingly narrow streets, pedestrians only.

Villa Nada is surrounded with astonishing garden where you can enjoy nice and clean pool which is opened 24/7. There are superb view on the sea and landscape around. Villa has spacious rooms and enough place to park your car. Guests of Villa Nada have also 10% discount in some restaurants in Lovran (you only need to inform the waiter that you are staying in Villa Nada before footing your bill). We enjoyed the location and ambience so much we extended our stay. The villa is set on the water. Each morning we enjoyed breakfast with an ocean vista. Access to the promenade is right below the villa. You can easily stroll along the water to Lovran or to Opatija. It was more than just a place to sleep. It was a place infused with history and art. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Clean and quiet pool area. Very friendly and helpful hosts, Loreta and her dad were always available when needed and provided us with useful advice. Free parking, WiFi worked well. Lovran and other beaches of the Opatja Riviera are 10-15 min by car, also supermarkets are only 5-10min by car.
