The breakfast was rich and delicious. The hotel has a nice bar on a terrace if you are interested. The room was spacious and clean. The personnel was very helpful when asked a question. Also, they have allowed us to check out later than usual to help us with our baby. To sum up, it was an excellent stay.

Great location, close to bus/metro/train stations and very quiet during the weekend (since it's not exactly in the most touristic area). Excellent breakfast with a lot of delicious options for all possible taste (including culinary preferences and food allergies). Supermarket right next to the hotel - very handy. Stockholm is a very easy city with amazing sights and some lovely food options. Many varied neighbourhoods and something to do every day. Highly recommended as a city break. We did look for vegan eateries and found great options. My favourite bit was a long run through the woods of mainland Djurgarden. Right on the edge of the city, but felt like out in the country. You will not be disappointed.

A beautiful city, full of galleries and museums. The architecture of this comparatively small capital city is wonderful and public transport is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and the Hotel Tapto is excellent.

Stayed for a weekend Fri-Sun and I think that was a long enough time to do everything we had planned. Went to Aifur Viking restaurant one evening which was incredible and would highly recommend! We also went to Restaurant C&C in the old town and the Swedish meatballs are perfection! The city is very walkable but we used the electric scooters a lot as they are everywhere and there are so many bike lanes. The prices of everything are quite high but I understand that the wages are also higher. Would also recommend Mammut bar for drinks, underground gothic bar in the old town with amazing atmosphere.

Stockholm is a beautiful city.
Stockholm is a beautiful city. Staying just outside The Old Town was perfect - SoFo - is a lovely bohemian area with very few tourists. Walking is easy but also the public transport system (including ferries) is superb.
Just walking the streets of The Old Town is a delight, But also recommend some island hopping. Skansen, The Museum of Modern Art and Stampen jazz club were particular favourites.
And a lovely bistro hidden amongst the web of cobbled streets in the Old Town is Under Kastanjen.
The Hotel Rival is a very fun hotel in an excellent part of Stockholm. very close to the metro line but easy to walk into the old part of town as well, and is very close to great restaurants and nightlife. The hotel itself has great sized rooms well decorated, and even though there is a theatre connected to the hotel you couldn't hear it at all! The bar was fantastic for a late night drink, and the breakfast options were some of the best I've ever had
The staff are the best, we got a room with a window and it was glorious! The beds are super comfy, the location is amazing near Odenplan and the library. The breakfast is delicious and serves a range of options which is most appreciated. They also will look after you as a tourist through the city. You can store your baggage in the hotel after check out so you can explore the city. This is a wonderful place with amazing, friendly staff!
Beautiful hotel with excellent breakfast.
Perfect for those who enjoy museums and fresh air. Friendly staff. Excellent transportation with busses, trams and the very scenic commuter boats. There are nice restaurants around but not as many as in the absolute city centre. Within a ~ 5 minute walk there are 7 of Stockholm's best museums. Wasa ship, Viking, Wreck, Liljevalchs art, Skansen and ABBA museum.
Modern hotel with good transport connections to Stockholm city center (25-30 minutes by metro) and Arlanda Airport (30 minutes by direct bus). A large trade center with shops and cafes is nearby, so it's no problem to buy food or anything else you might need. Big cozy rooms, well-equipped in typical Scandinavian style. A very good breakfast with a nice choice of food and drinks included in the price.
I stayed at Sky Aparthotel for 3 weeks in October 2022. My studio was spacious and bright with large windows. The bed was comfortable and I felt at home right away. I would highly recommend this aparthotel for short and medium length stays. The location of the hotel is close to the city center and there is a large supermarket 5 min. away. Will definitely stay again there if I visit Stockholm.
Good value hotel near to the main attractions in Stockholm. We stayed for two days as tourists, it was perfect for this. Several shops, pubs and attractions are in walking distance, also metro lines. The breakfast was extremely tasty and diverse, one of the best breakfasts we ever had in hotels (gluten/lactose etc. free corner with several options also). Definitely recommended.
Great breakfast with a variety of foods. Hotel is right next to Skanstull metro station and 20 mins walk into Gamla Stan. Room was nice and spacious (around 20 sq metres) and clean as well as quiet. Great value for money considering this is Stockholm and for the same price you can get nice hotels in the center but the rooms can be like 8 sq metres etc!
The breakfast itself would bring me back. I was lucky to find the hotel as it is close to where my son lives and was glad to be somewhere quieter than the city center.
Staff was really friendly. I travel to stockholm at least once a year as do other family members. I can’t think of a reason not to stay.
Price was more than reasonable
Love everything about this hotel. Spacious toilet. TV can be connected to phone via bluetooth. They provide washing machine and free locker after check out as well. Location is the best! Stockholm City Terminal is around 400-500m from the hotel. Shopping district is within walking the distance too.
Lovely nature around the property. Highly recommend the hike if you want a personal experience into the rural beauty of Sweden. A 40 min bus ride into center Stockholm with buses operating into the night, and the room offered was one of the best I’ve experienced traveling through Europe.
The breakfast buffet is the best I have ever had. Would go back to Stockholm just to stay at this hotel and have the breakfaat every day. 7 buffets in total - the variety was amazing. Lots of heathy options but also lovely sweets including crepes and waffles. Amazing. We loved it!
Great location and the hotel had everything we needed. The gym was brilliant, one of the best equipped I have been to. Lovely staff and delicious breakfast, would highly recommend as a place to stay in Stockholm.
The best aspect of this hotel is its location. It is situated in a very upmarket open green area of Stockholm, cheek by jowl with the Djurgarden Island, with all it parklands and multiple museums.
The hotel is really grand as the name suggests. You fee like you are one of the Royal Palace’s apartments and feel important. All the staff were professional and 5 star service.
One of the best breakfasts I have had in a hotel that is considered to be low-mid budget for a place like Stockholm, for that reason alone it should be recommended to anyone.
Fantastic location, great value, really unique and interesting building too with history! Friendly staff and good check-in times. Best hotel in Stockholm that I've been to.
The room had one of the best hotel views in Stockholm. All personnel were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had tons of choices and everything was fresh.
