This boutique hotel is directly located in Hamburg city centre, a 1-minute walk from the Neuer Wall shopping street and a 5-minute walk from the Jungfernsteig. The restaurant at the hotel was really great. We enjoy a wonderful and tasty dinner. Compliments to the chef. They had their own wine so really great red wine. For the bartender of the Bar Bleu in the hotel compliments because the cockatils made by him were amazing. What to say more, the position of the hotel , to the staff and the food really great. We will come again, for sure 😊

We have stayed in numerous 5 Star hotels around the world over the last many years and we have never experienced anything like The Fontenay. It is very luxurious, elegantly decorated and has a charming and very welcoming atmosphere with very attentive and professional staff. The location is fantastic right at the beautiful Alster lake. In short it was a magical experience. We shall definitely come back. Thank you all at The Fontenay for making our stay with a truly memorable experience.

The building is beautifuly furnished and rooms are exquisitelly decorated, one of the best hotels I've ever visited, everything here is pure art. The staff takes customer services to another level, probably that's how royalty feels like 👌 Breakfast is absolutely delicious and served perfectly. Congratulations! Will definitely return, I highly recommend this hotel if visiting Hamburg.

Beautiful historical and well maintained hotel in a central location just oposite the main train station and Ohnsorg-Theater. The room was very spacious, very clean and quiet. The staff is friendly, especially the breakfast staff. The large entrance hall, the art deco decor of the huge breakfast room which serves as a restaurant in the evening, and the 1910 bar are amazing.

Sternschanze is best social life location in Hamburg, but doesn't enough accomodations and this hotel is on good location, value for the money, in fact very good and not expensive as mostly hotels in Hamburg are during the whole year. warm recommend

Arcotel is always clean, fresh and welcoming. The rooms are nice, and a nice refuge after spending a week at a musical festival. Great and friendly staff. It’s a great location to, everything is easy to walk to.

Excellent hotel, newly constructed so everything feels very new and fresh. Great staff, nice lobby and good restaurant both for breakfast and dinner. Next door to huge parking garage so ample space for parking. Good location near Miniatur Wunderland. Very, very comfortable beds and nicely designed rooms.

The bar in the hotel was great, we had a great experience with the bartender. The room was beautiful and had a great view. The bathroom was nice and big, having both a bathtub and shower separate were nice, and the toilet being in a separate room was also nice. Our balcony was nice and big and also private. The decorations were cute and the lobby was clean and well decorated with friendly front desk staff.

Convenient for our purposes, had a small “snacks store” for guests, clean and comfortable.
