Our stay at Umi Hotel was absolutely perfect! The location is superb, situated off the main road and surrounded by Icelandic fields, offering a private and secluded atmosphere. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautifully designed structures and rooms. Our room featured stylish Scandinavian decor and was impeccably clean. We dined at the hotel's restaurant, and the food and service were outstanding – among the best we experienced in Iceland. The beach is about a 20-minute walk away, and we enjoyed a peaceful stroll, having the beach almost entirely to ourselves. I highly recommend this place and look forward to returning.

Great location just under a km from Skogafoss waterfall. Very convenient if you like to enjoy the waterfall in the early morning or at night (photography). Private entrance and private bathroom for the single room. Nice shared kitchen with all amenities. Single room is very small, but serves its purpose perfectly. Host even left a small heater in case I needed it for the cold night. Would stay again.
