I maybe over exaggerating here but after staying at a really bad hotel, coming into Marison Hotel was heavenly. Very clean, spacious, luxurious and full blast of airconditioning. It also helped that I got a penthouse room. There was also a view of the volcano from the balcony.

Hotel Inigo had fast wifi. All codes can connect to maximum of 5 gadgets. Confirming the booking was easy via phone call. Checking-in was easy. We arrived at 3pm and all rooms were ready. The hot water was really hot and AC was cold enough. The Nespresso in the room satisfied our coffee cravings. There was a pitcher in the room if we needed water, that can be refilled in the floor.

Our favorite overnight stop over on the way to Sorsogon.
Our favorite overnight stop over on the way to Sorsogon. Malls, groceries and the Mayon activities are just what we always wanted. Internet and banks are almost anywhere, if there is a need of emergency business needs.

Skyline is one great place to go to see Mt. Mayon but unfortunately it was raining hard when we got up there, the volcano is not visible.
Sumlang lake is a good place to go as the volcano is it’s backdrop.
There’s a lot of big malls if you’re into shopping.
Restaurants and hospitals abound in every location.
Transportation is no problem at all as you can call cabs via phone or online. Public jeepneys can get you from point A to point B.

Check the weather map so that you increase your chances of getting a full view of Mayon Volcano. Do consider booking properties outside Legaspi (Daraga) The tourists attractions are all near Daraga. (less traffic), however all the nice places to eat are in Legaspi.

The vibe is really laid back so we were able to relax. Guests should be equipped to deal with the weather. The Mayon can be viewed everywhere! Try the Hoyop hoyopan cave, and their spicy pinangat. Pasalubong are abaca bags, sili keychains, pili nut near the old riles (train tracks).

My first time in Legazpi was great because we had planned a food tour with GuidetothePhilippines.ph.com. Other than that we had not plan. We were able to walk around and even take a jeepney. People are friendly and helpful. The view of Mt. Mayon on a clear day is unbeatable and breathtaking.

Nice enough city on the bay with the stunning perfect cone of the Mayon volcano as a backdrop.
Needs improvement - the new SM is a start - but needs infrastructure investment big time. International airport for Bicol region - lots of places to visit and explore.
Elizabeth and Martin were very welcoming and made me feel like home away from hom in Legazpi.
My booking was made last minute on the same day, they replied very promptly. Even my check in was extremely late(I noticed them 2am earlier, ended up check in at 5am) they awaited me all night long. Sorry.
I loved elegant and cozy interior, ambience of the property, food, conversation with them and ALL. Must come back to Casita when in Legazpi.

Very nice place to stay with the view of Mayon volcano. Welcoming, helpful and warm hotel owner and staff. Clean and cozy hotel. Have rooftop to have meal with the view. Room is good with basic facilities, flip flop to wear, fast internet and free netflix. Convenient location as there are restaurants and 7 eleven nearby.
This guesthouse is a wonderful and so quiet place in the center of Legazpi City. The room was spacious, very clean. The staff was amazing and we could enjoy so much the beauty of Balai Tinay. Many nice restaurants are walking distance from the guesthouse, that's a bonus.
The location is close to everything. The staff were very accommodating and welcomed us warmly. The room was very clean and well-appointed. Breakfast were of generous portions and tasted great. The overall vibe of the hotel is very homey.

I love the buffet breakfast 🥞
The property is so aesthetic, quiet, comfy and clean, love the unlimited coffee and the children's play sets and the amazing view of Mt Mayon. Close to the city center for night walk and or a trip to Mcdo.
The staff were very good...attends to guest concerns without delays. The hotel location very near the provincial capitol, easy to get transport, even a block away from main road...quiet at night.
breakfast was spot on with a good choice of breakfast like tortang talong, tinapa. They're not the generic hotel breakfast, i liked the complimentary toiletry set, the ever helpful staff
Staying at this hotel felt like a serene escape in the middle of bustling city. With its perfect location and breathtaking views that and the cozy and unique ccommodation experience.
It’s in a quiet neighborhood and very close to J. P. Rizal Ave. which is a main thoroughfare in Legazpi City. The rooms are clean and spacious enough. Beds are comfortable too.
The staff was nice but we saw the following worst ever types of things when you book a room. This is going to be the worst hotel I have ever been so far. I am so disgusted.
