Beautiful city for a long weekend of history, architecture, and eating and drinking. We spent a leisurely day each in the old town, cathedral island and the Kaiser's Castle/university area. problem with finding accommodation, the booking.com map shows a different address, one street next door. Upon arrival, there was no blanket and pillow, the room was not cleaned. There's no elevator, but only three floors so manageable, but I was traveling alone. Not something I'd want to deal with if I had the littles with me. Had dinner in the restaurant, which was priced well, but portions were surprisingly small compared to most hotels I've stayed at in Poland. Again, I won't complain since it cost me less than $20 for dinner and a few beers.
