Perfect location near forest, great for walks and hiking. Room was really spacious. Very calm. Staff very helpful and nice. Food was over my expectations, we liked every meal very much, worth to have dinners here. Breakfast had pretty much variations for the size of the hotel. Kids court is a big plus. Parking no problem.

Immaculate apartment, the building looks new and the location is in the centrum of the city. Communication with the host was clear and pretty straight forward. We found it pretty easy to park and open the apartment. Overall we will come back!

Martin a small charming town . The nature is outstanding. More touristinformation and a map over the region was wanted. Martin a good place for the students from abord. Several restaurant served exelent food. The servants could have been better talking english .

Everything in Martin is so clean.
Everything in Martin is so clean. The loos are amazing compared to those in the UK. In the shopping centre there is a soft play area, for small chidren, and the adults can really relax with a coffee whilst being able to keep a close eye on them. There is so much space. We visited a village where old houses have been moved to or reconstructed. It was really interesting and there was lots of space for the children to run around, as well as a cafe. People were friendly and helpful, including in all the cafes and restaurants we visited. The local food is all fantastic, as is the goulash in a Czech restaurant we visited in the town centre. All the young people appear to speak English.

Town centre very pedestrian friendly. Food and coffee very good where we tried them. Sadly could not visit Museum of Martin Benka as it was closed and I understand expecting to be completely refurbished. But a trip to Strecno castle was worth every penny. Close to shops. There are all the cooking facilities there and an espresso machine with fresh ground coffee. Exceptionally clean and the bathroom has great water pressure. The Open-air Museum is very-very close too, and Martin is a kind little town. It's a good place for dog-walking and there are not a lot of cars, so it's safe with children as well.
