We arrived late at night and needed a hotel close to the airport and closer to Szeged then Budapest and this was a great option. It is about a 20 minute drive from the airport. Room was comfortable. Boasting a wellness area and views of the medieval Upper Castle, Hotel Honti Wellness és Konferencia Szálloda is set in the centre of Visegrád. We arrived soaking wet with our dirty bicycles and the staff gave us a friendly welcome. We could park them indoors which was really great, because the bikes were safe over night. The wellness area was really big and had a lot to offer. They even had laundry racks available to hang out wet clothes. Next to the hotel is a restaurant that has a buffet at night. The hotel gave us vouchers to eat there for a lower price. The neighbouring buffet was also excellent.

Everything about this hotel was above my expectations and I travel a lot internationally. The staff (especially Arnold) was welcoming and spoke English. From my day of check in until check out, they all went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. My bags were taken upstairs to my room as I have a back injury that makes lifting while going up stairs difficult. I was greeted for dining and care was taken to make me feel welcome. That is a big thing as a woman travelling alone. They checked on my frequently to make sure my food was what I wanted and also prepared hot food for my breakfast when I was the only one eating. (Normally food for breakfast is put out and left out from 0700-1000.) The food in the dining room is 5 star and a huge amount of food for the price. The breakfast is an amazing spread with many hot and cold choices. They also have bottled juice and water available. I was always greeted upon entry and exit at the front door. There was always staff on hand, even at night. The hotel was exceptionally clean with staff mopping and vacuuming. The common areas daily, sometimes more than once. It also smelled clean upon entry. Staff offered to clean my room and change sheets and towels since I had a "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door. When I had to leave the evening before my scheduled check out, they offered to make me a lunch of sandwiches and fruit for my trip to Budapest. Such outstanding service!
