Newly opened Scandinavian style Hotel with a really friendly atmosphere and stuff incl. hotel manager. Halfboard with great hungarian type food. Well isolated double room, comfortable beds. Sauna, relax and Spa area for ca. 8 people is really comfortable, they arranged about 2 hour slots not to be overcrowded. In addition to the spa area there is an outdoor sauna and 2 extra wooden hot tubs as well for enthusiasts. The surrounding garden of the Hotel is well-kept, enough carparking lots, two of them with contacts for electric cars.

Boasting a wellness area and views of the medieval Upper Castle, Hotel Honti Wellness és Konferencia Szálloda is set in the centre of Visegrád. We arrived soaking wet with our dirty bicycles and the staff gave us a friendly welcome. We could park them indoors which was really great, because the bikes were safe over night. The wellness area was really big and had a lot to offer. They even had laundry racks available to hang out wet clothes. Next to the hotel is a restaurant that has a buffet at night. The hotel gave us vouchers to eat there for a lower price. The neighbouring buffet was also excellent.

Everything about this hotel was above my expectations and I travel a lot internationally. The staff (especially Arnold) was welcoming and spoke English. From my day of check in until check out, they all went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. My bags were taken upstairs to my room as I have a back injury that makes lifting while going up stairs difficult. I was greeted for dining and care was taken to make me feel welcome. That is a big thing as a woman travelling alone. They checked on my frequently to make sure my food was what I wanted and also prepared hot food for my breakfast when I was the only one eating. (Normally food for breakfast is put out and left out from 0700-1000.) The food in the dining room is 5 star and a huge amount of food for the price. The breakfast is an amazing spread with many hot and cold choices. They also have bottled juice and water available. I was always greeted upon entry and exit at the front door. There was always staff on hand, even at night. The hotel was exceptionally clean with staff mopping and vacuuming. The common areas daily, sometimes more than once. It also smelled clean upon entry. Staff offered to clean my room and change sheets and towels since I had a "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door. When I had to leave the evening before my scheduled check out, they offered to make me a lunch of sandwiches and fruit for my trip to Budapest. Such outstanding service!
