We were so happy for the tasty meal after traveling all day and finding nearby cafes closed.

All the facilities are there and exactly as you'd expect them to be. The hosts know to greet you and then to leave you alone completely until you check out. Bring all your own things (food, drinks, etc) because there is nothing around... Mobile phone (internet) coverage is surprisingly good.

This place is quiet and not too far away from the Aglona city center. That's just what I wanted, enjoy nature, but at the same time close to shops. Private beach (lake) is just amazing. They have fully equipped kitchen.

Excellent location, perfect for relaxing, right by the lake or having breakfast in the terrace by the lake. Perfect for visiting Aglona only green l few minutes away in the car. Everything is new and pleasant in the little house! The key exchange was super easy, we were welcomed by the owner and all our questions where answered, even the sauna was offered to use. Safe place, car parking available on the new driveway too.

The facilities are very good. The internet connection was too poor, and the hosts promptly helped me with it, sharing a signal amplifier. Thank you for everything! :)

The place is fantastic if want to find a peaceful place without wifi and business around you - just be with yourself and your mind. There is almost everything available in the house, just the coffee machine is missing. But overall can find a pan, dishes, mugs and wine glasses too as well as a fridge. If you enjoy boating time on the lake, you can find it here too - a boat is available there.

Objekat Idilliska Latgaliešu lauku māja ar melno pirti se nalazi u gradu Aglona, na svega 14 min. I wish I could magically wake up every weekend in Alvis' home in Aglona.. What a wonderful place! We loved absolutely everything about it : the house itself is so comfortable and full of history, the nature that surrounds it and all the lovely areas set up to enjoy it are so peaceful and outstandingly beautiful, black banya is an unforgettable experience, the town is quiet but with everything one might need and so many things to explore. This place is heaven for anyone who would like to slow down and enjoy what really matters: peace and quiet, natural beauty and good company. We had the warmest welcome, Alvis was so thoughtful and always made sure we were comfortable and never had to worry about anything. I am truly grateful for his kindness and hospitality! I wish we had stayed longer, but I have a feeling it's not the last time we visited this place :)
