Brakanes Hotel is located on the shores of the Hardanger Fjord in Ulvik. The hotel restaurant features a buffet and a la carte menu of local dishes. Free WiFi is included. Very Silent and Peaceful location. I just could not get enough of the view. It had an apple tree outside our Balcony. Dinner was Super expensive, I will not say no, but the chef is top. Always ask for a Table Fan which will be given to you on request, as u will need 1 for slight air circulation in the room….coz u will need to shut the windows coz of the outside noise and mosquitoes sometimes.…or else u might feel stuffy or sweaty in the middle of the night…..this is a tip to be used in the whole of Norway.

Huone oli erittäin puhdas ja siisti. Aamupala herkullinen ja tosi monipuolinen. Aamupala oli katettu kauniisti. Ruokailutila oli kaunis. Pöydissä oli valkoiset liinat ja oikeat kukat. Maisemat olivat rauhoittavan kauniit. Henkilökunta kohteli meitä hyvin.

Fossli-hotelli sijaitsee myöhäisen 1800-luvun Art nouveau -tyylisessä rakennuksessa, josta on näkymät Mabo Valleyhin, ja se tarjoaa ilmaisen Wi-Fi:n ja huoneita, joissa on oma kylpyhuone. An over 100 year old history — creaky hallway floor boards and ageing carpet part of the charm to me, and something I appreciate further after learning about the hotel carried down generations. The rooms most importantly are more restored, very clean and comfortable and buffet breakfast is good — didn’t have the chance to try the restaurant.
