Centrally located in Longyearbyen, Basecamp Hotel is a traditional trapper's lodge-style property just 15 minutes’ drive from Longyearbyen Airport. The airport bus stops right outside. The property is very unique in terms of the look & feel of the boutique hotel. Not too big but tastefully made. No shoes allowed inside so it stays clean thru out. Nice breakfast.

Super helpful staff and 24hr reception is great as tours and things can and do go over. Breakfast is a wide variety and fresh and runs for a decent amount of time. Breakfast was delicious, the views were spectacular, the 5 o'clock tea and treats were lovely and the staff was super friendly. They also have a great bar with very nice drinks. Everything exceeded our expectations.
