This privately owned hotel is located right next to Vadstena Castle and Lake Vättern. The rooms at Hotel Slottsgården all have a private bathroom with shower. The hotel is situated right opposite Vadstena castle with a magnificient view. We were upgraded to a superior room, all of which a decorated according to themes. Ours was maritime, which fitted us pretty well. the superior rooms all have their own private entrance and a little terrace. We were surprised by the town of Vadstena with its rich history and lovely situated at the lake Vättern.

Housed in a former monastery from the Middle Ages, this historic hotel is located on Lake Vättern in quaint Vadstena. Guests can relax with in the peaceful settings or at the on-site spa. Everything was perfect; the location, the ambiance, the room and the restaurant. We will come back for sure!

The hotel is located next to the lake, in the heart of Jönköping, in a perfect location. The room is super clean and the bed is super comfortable. The Shower is great, and the ground heating is giving you extra comfort. Wifi is signal is strong. Breakfast is rich and very tasty. I definitely recommend the dining and bar experience in the hotel. There is a parking place, don't forget to book your slot.
